When Looker is no longer writing logs, a restart will get the process going again.
This can happen if you do anything to the looker.log
file, such as:
- edit
looker.log
from vi or another text editor - delete
looker.log
- move or rename
looker.log
- zip
looker.log
TDLR: Always make a copy of looker.log before doing anything.
