The chromium_pid_files
directory in the looker
directory contains any process IDs for actively-running Chromium rendering processes. It is used to kill old processes that were running during a shutdown when Looker is started back up.
It's totally fine if this directory is empty, it just means that Looker isn't processing any render jobs currently!
