Looker offers two default homepage options in Looker 7.2 and later releases:
- The pre-built Looker homepage, which features favorite and recently viewed content all in one place
- Any Looker URL (for example, a team board or Markdown file)
You can set a default homepage for your organization from the Homepage section within Admin settings.
There are two popular templates that organizations often use for team homepages:
- The easiest, fastest way to set up a team homepage is to create a team board and set this as a default homepage for a specific team. Learn more about boards in this Help Center article on how to curate content for a team or an initiative within Looker.
- It is also possible for admins to curate a specific visual homepage using a Markdown file.
