In Looker 6.24, we've introduced dashboards (beta), which have a fresh, modern look and feel; customizable, user-friendly filters; a new dashboard creation experience and editing flow; and much-improved performance.
Dashboards (beta) can be implemented by enabling the New Dashboard Experience Labs feature, which allows you to switch back and forth between dashboards (beta) and original dashboards.
Some features and functionality are not yet included, but are being considered for dashboards (beta), such as:
- In the main dashboard menu:
- Download a dashboard as a PDF
- Download a dashboard as a CSV zip file
- Get a dashboard's LookML
- Send a dashboard
- Schedule a dashboard
- Editing a dashboard:
- Add a Look
- Edit dashboard settings
- Tiles on a dashboard:
- Download data from a tile
- Schedule alerts
- Support for merged results tiles
- Support for static map visualizations
- Support for grid layout
- Enable data actions
- Edit tiles:
- View, add, or edit a note
- View original Look
- Hide tile title
- View navigation breadcrumbs
While not currently present in dashboards (beta), these features are still available when you switch to original dashboards.
Switching between Dashboards (Beta) and Original Dashboards
In the short-term, you can use the original version of your dashboard when you need features not currently present in dashboards (beta) and switch back to dashboards (beta) when you're ready to take advantage of its benefits.
Using the Dashboard Menu to Switch
If you are able to edit a dashboard and the New Dashboard Experience Labs feature is enabled, you can switch between original and dashboards (beta) from the menu in the top right corner of the dashboard.

Changing the URL to Switch
If you don't have editing capabilities on a dashboard but the New Dashboard Experience Labs feature is enabled, you can switch between the original version and the dashboard (beta) version of the dashboard by adding or removing
dashboards in the dashboard URL. A URL with

If you remove the

You can return to the dashboards (beta) version of the dashboard by adding
